Mark A. Blinn,
age 48, has served as
president and chief
executive officer of
Flowserve since October 1,
2009. His prior roles at
Flowserve included serving
as senior vice president
since late 2006, chief
financial officer since
2004, and leading Latin
America operations since
late 2007. He has diverse
financial management and
executive leadership
experience in the
manufacturing, financial,
technology services, and
homebuilding industries.Mark joined
Flowserve in 2004 after
serving as chief financial
officer of FedEx Kinko’s
Office and Print Services.
Prior to that, he was vice
president and chief
accounting officer for
Centex. Mark has also held a
variety of senior management
positions in finance,
treasury, and planning at
FirstPlus Financial,
Electronic Data Systems, and
Commercial Capital Funding.
A leading

infrastructure markets,
Flowserve has a strong
community presence wherever
they do business, with a
special emphasis on
children’s causes. In North
Texas, the company has a
long-standing relationship
with
Happy Hill Farm Academy.
Ed Shipman, founder of Happy
