Patrick Esquerré is a businessman, entrepreneur, master marketer, and a humanitarian. He is truly Frances gift to Dallas.
In 1983, Patrick created la Madeleine French Bakery and Cafes in Dallas. The concept was from his mothers French kitchen, and the outcome is history. Under Patricks leadership as President and CEO for over fifteen years, la Madeleine grew from a single location to total sales of $120M and 62 locations.
Patrick was the recipient of The Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 1993, the PBS Humanitarian Award in 1990 and in 1997 was chosen by Nations Restaurant News as one of the 50 New Players the next generation of power players.
As Honorary Chairman of Vintage Dallas, Patrick has been extremely involved. He has attended all meetings, and many of his creative ideas are reflected in this years Vintage Dallas. Volunteer work is part of Patricks strong belief in giving back. He is on the Board of the North Texas Food Bank and Casa (Advocates for abused children).
Never one to sit still, Patrick is currently busy developing, with work-renowned chefs, a new food concept Café Patrique, located on the North West corner of Forest and Preston. The food is delicious, very healthy, convenient, and affordable. It is even charitable
in that it will benefit a foundation that helps various non-profit organizations. |
