Esther Hayward graduated from Baylor Law School in 1977, the youngest student in her law school class. Today she is the oldest mother of kindergartners in her twin's classes.
As a chief felony prosecutor in the District Attorney's office she tried hundreds of violent offenses, drug, and white-collar crime cases. Transferring her courtroom talent to the other side of the docket she entered into a successful private practice for a dozen years before relocating to Italy and writing her first book, A Year In The Light.
She is a member of Texas Association of Board Certified Specialists, other legal organizations, and has been a member of District VI Legal grievance Committee.
Volunteer Work:
- Past Board President of the Deaf Action Center serving 35,000 hearing impaired
- Past Secretary and current board member of the Autistic Treatment Center in Dallas.
- Teacher: CCD to high school juniors in the Catholic Church.
Her speaking venues include numerous legal, business and professional groups, law enforcement organizations, public schools, and social clubs on a variety of topics.

She is a pilot, enjoys diving, travel.
